Explore the Grotta del Genovese and the prehistoric graffiti inside it: full of allure and mystery, the cave is covered by 33 engravings depicting mostly animals, such as deer, bulls, oxen, felines and horses, and some human figures. Some of the animals depicted were sacred to the goddess of fertility and it is believed that the cave was indeed a place of initiation rites and sacrifices.

Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples
